  • Shay MannShay Mann
    Wednesday Evening Speaker

    Shay has served the General Youth Division for the past ten years and has filled all three executive roles during his tenure. His involvement in student ministry spans over 20 years and includes serving as Youth Pastor to some amazing students in Texas City, TX and Atlanta, GA. Shay is grateful for the opportunity he has been given to invest in the lives of thousands of teenagers and young adults across North America and around the world and will continue to have a special affinity for ministering to them.

    Family has always been a priority to Shay and nothing energizes him more than spending time with the ones he loves the most. The “Killer Bs”, as he has affectinately been known to call them, consists of his beautiful wife, Bridgette and their two lovely and talented daughters, Breleigh (12) and Blair (9). 

    Earlier this year, the Manns were voted as Pastor-Elect of The Life Church in Dallas, TX. In October, they will assume the pastorate and are expecting a Texas-sized revival in north Dallas! 


  • David McGovernDavid McGovern
    Thursday General Session Speaker

    In 1998, David started his journey in youth ministry as an 18-year-old volunteer, and has since spent the last 15 years living his dream: ministering to students in a variety of settings on a local, regional, national and even international level. In 2005, he married the love of his life, Monique, and together they have three daughters: Anevay, Ambree and Adelyn. He was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, but moved to San Diego for seven years to serve as student pastor of The Point Church in Escondido, where he worked under his hero and mentor, Pastor Darin Sargent. He has also served in district youth work for several years, and he is currently the  Southern California District Youth Secretary. In September of 2012, he and his family answered God’s call to plant an apostolic church in the Glendale community of Los Angeles.

    Tim and his wife, Stacy, planted New Life Church in Cabot, Arkansas in 1999 and presently serve as its senior pastor. A graduate of Chiristian Life College in Stockton, California, Bro. Gaddy has a passion for church planting and he currently serves as North American Missions Director for Arkansas.

    James Maroney has pastored in Campbellsburg, KY for thirteen years.  Previously he evangelized four years.  He served on the General Youth Committee four years. He has ministered to students all across our fellowship at numerous camps and HYC events.  Apart from ministry and study, he prides himself in his vast knowledge of 80's trivia.  He resides in the beautiful bluegrass state with his incredible wife of nineteen years, Gayla Jo and handsome five year old twin boys Collin and Connor.


  • Cortt ChavisCortt Chavis
    Friday Evening Speaker

    Cortt is a full-time Evangelist with the UPCI, husband to Amanda and father to Cortney, Syndey, and Isaac. He is a singer, song-writer, musician and preacher. Recently under the direction of the Spirit, his pastor and his leadership, he is planting a church with his family in Loganville, GA, “Truth Chapel”. Cortt served in the United States Army and is a veteran of “Operation Iraqi Freedom”. He lives by this verse, Psalm 37:4 “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart”.

    Ryan Dean has ministered as student pastor at The Pentecostals of Bossier City in Bossier City, Louisiana since 2003. He has been privileged to serve under leadership of his father, Pastor Jerry Dean, and Assistant Pastor Shannon Stanley.

    Ryan married Shari, his Louisiana Youth Camp sweetheart, in 2006. They are the proud parents of their son, Raylan Mason Dean, and West Highland White Terrier, Apple.

    Paul J. Pamer is honored to attend, serve, and minister at the Apostolic Church in Barberton Ohio.  He has been blessed to be involved in leading and equipping students for 16 years.  He has studied at Indiana Bible College, Malone University, and the University of Akron.  He and Brooke have been dating while married for 9 years.

    Brooke W. Pamer is on staff at the Apostolic Church, Barberton, Ohio. She received a Master’s degree in English Literature and embraces her identity as a book nerd.

  • David K. BernardDavid K. Bernard
    Thursday Young Ministers Split Session Speaker

    Reverend David Bernard is the general superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church International, which has over three million constituents in forty thousand churches in 195 nations. He founded New Life United Pentecostal Church of Austin, Texas, out of which sixteen additional churches were started under his leadership. He is also the founding president of Urshan College and Urshan Graduate School of Theology. He earned a doctor of jurisprudence with honors from the University of Texas, a doctor of theology from the University of South Africa, and a bachelor of arts magna cum laude in mathematical sciences and managerial studies from Rice University. The author of thirty-one books with circulation of over 750,000, he has been published in about forty languages and has ministered in fifty-five countries on six continents. He and his wife, Connie, have three children and several grandchildren.

    Brandon has been privileged to serve in various capacities of student ministry for more than nine years.  He serves as the Student Pastor at The Pentecostals of Apopka in Apopka, FL.  He and his wife Kara are the proud parents of their son Hudson! They have a passion to introduce students to a loving God and challenge them to change their world.

    Nathaniel Rios is a veteran student pastor and currently serves the youth of Elevate Student Ministries at Woodlawn Church in Columbia MS. He has been a music ministry director, a youth pastor, youth director, and an evangelist in California, Texas and Mississippi. His “Dream Big or Don’t Dream at All” approach to life has served him as he strives to see the biggest and best happen for the next generation.

    Friday Young Ministers Split Session Speaker

    Reverend Jerald Staten is a veteran church planter and has started three churches, of which one he currently serves as pastor in Washington D.C.  His ministry includes evangelism, street meetings, hosting youth on mission trips, and much more. They have had the privilege of baptizing 300 people and have seen over 400 receive the Holy Ghost during their ministry.

    Thursday Hyphen Young Adults Split Session Speaker

    Kristin serves as Administrator for Hyphen, the new young adult ministry of the General Youth Division. She also serves as Worship Leader, Promotions Director, and Assistant Director of Arts and Music at New Life Christian Center in Lancaster, Ohio. She was driven by her passion to start {ymi} A Young Adult Ministry in 2010 after serving in LiveWire Student Ministries for five years.

    Kristin is a closet nerd. In 2005 she graduated from Indiana Bible College with a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts and Music and in 2007 from Liberty University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration specializing in International Business. Currently, Kristin is pursuing a Doctor of Worship Studies Degree at the Institute for Worship Studies.

    Friday Hyphen Young Adults Split Session Speaker

    Seth Simmons is continually amazed by the Grace of Jesus Christ. He serves as Youth Secretary of the South Texas District and as Pastor of New Life UPC of Hutto, northeast of Austin, TX.  Prior to pastoring, he served for six unforgettable years as youth pastor at New Life UPC of Austin where the youth, young adults, parents, leaders, and pastors loved him and graciously allowed him to lead in his earliest days as a minister. He received his formal education from the University of Texas and Urshan Graduate School of Theology and lives near Austin with his wife, Sarah, and their daughters, Promise and Purity.

    David Kuhtenia serves as the North American Coordinator for the General Youth Division’s Campus Ministry International. He is also a consulting engineer to the pipeline and nuclear power industries, and lives in the Columbus, Ohio area with the fabulous Michelle Kuhtenia, their children Justus, David Henry, and Phebe, and boxer/lab Vogue.

  • Nate BinionNate Binion
    Director of Hyphen

    Nathaniel Binion is the first director of Hyphen Young Adult ministries and has been instrumental in constructing the Hyphen mission and vision, building the infrastructure to facilitate it, and recruiting a national team to lead it. He holds a BME from the University of Oklahoma and a MTS from Urshan Graduate School of Theology. His involvement in Young Adult ministry has travelled through local church leadership, district leadership, being an adjunct professor at a Bible School for 4 years, and as a church planter for 4 years in one of the largest Young Adult populations in the US (his most proud endeavor).

    Nathaniel shares his "all of life is an act of worship" vision through living by day as a singer-songwriter, his love for writing through curriculum development and research, his love for teaching and preaching through speaking locally and abroad, and his love for life with his wife Regina. They reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

  • Nathan ReeverNathan Reever
    Director of Senior Bible Quizzing

    Nathan Reever serves as the North American Senior Bible Quizzing Director and North American Intermediate Division Quizmaster. He is responsible for the questions that are used at district and North American tournaments in both the Intermediate and Experienced Divisions. He, along with the North American Experienced Division Quizmaster, conducts the Bible Quiz Extravaganzas each spring and the season-ending North American Bible Quiz Tournament. He provides guidance and encouragement for local churches and gives direction to the district and regional Bible quiz coordinators.

  • Jeremy GuzmanJeremy Guzman, Music

    Jeremy has served as the Music Minister of Calvary Tabernacle in Bentonville, AR for the past four years. Jeremy has played on, written for, and co-produced several live and studio recordings. He has a passion for excellence in music and a genuine love for teaching others the benefits of having music in their lives. More importantly, he loves the fulfillment of using music for worship to our Awesome Creator.  He and his wife Janessa are at their best when they're spending time with their baby boy, JJ.


  • Jason PearcyJason Pearcy, Jump Start

    Jason Pearcy has been involved in active ministry his whole life. He was four years of age when his father (Rev. James D. Pearcy) planted the first Apostolic Church in Waynesboro TN.  During the course of the past ten years he has ministered in over 600 Churches spanning the borders of 30 American States, as well as the Countries: Canada, Italy and Bangladesh. Both he and his wife (Rahdona) are graduates of Indiana Bible College and are currently serving as the TN District Youth Secretary while fulfilling the Evangelistic role in the fivefold ministry.

    A.J. Dummitt is a passionate preacher, student leader, husband and father. A.J. has served as a student pastor, lead pastor, Sectional Youth Leader, Kentucky District Youth Secretary, and General Conference Coordinator. A graduate of Indiana Bible College and McKendree University. He is the father of three children Julia, Jasmin, and Ashton. For his work with the General Conference and Holiday Youth Conventions, A.J. was named an Ambassador of Louisville for the 2011 Rose Awards. In 2012 the Kentucky District endorsed A.J. and his wife Cathy to plant a new church in Metro Louisville Kentucky. A.J. is thrilled to be part of Louisville North American Youth Congress and Project 22:39.

  • Greg WilhelmGreg Wilhelm, Afterburner

    Greg has served in Student Ministry since 2000 in both St Louis, MO and Bloomington, IL where he is the current Associate Pastor of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church and is the current Illinois District Youth President.  Greg pours himself into student ministry on all levels and is passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God advanced through students. 

    Greg has been blessed with the best 'help-meet' that God has ever created, Lynette.  They are totally infatuated with their 3 awesome children, Madyson, Alyvia & Rigley.  He is also a lifelong Die Hard Cubs fan...which is God's way of teaching him patience, humility & long-suffering.
